What’s the purpose of MACROview™?

MACROview is a one-of-a-kind tool that provides deep insights into key indicators of progress and opportunity within metro Atlanta’s 29 counties, the metro Atlanta region as a whole, and finally the entire state of Georgia. All so local leaders can help drive progress and positive change.

Where does MACROview data come from?

MACROview data can come from a number of places! To find the source for a specific statistic, click on the appropriate data tile. The source will be at the bottom of the pop-up window.

What counties make up metro Atlanta?

Metro Atlanta speaks to the 29 counties found in metro Atlanta, including Barrow, Bartow, Butts, Carroll, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, Dawson, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Haralson, Heard, Henry, Jasper, Lumpkin, Meriwether, Morgan, Newton, Paulding, Pickens, Pike, Rockdale, Spalding, and Walton.

Can I use MACROview data in my work?

Absolutely! MACROview data is intended to be used to support projects and initiatives that help drive change across the metro Atlanta region. Please attribute any data used to MACROview from the Metro Atlanta Chamber.

Can I export MACROview data?

Yes! To export an individual dataset, click the appropriate data tile. Then click on the share buttons in the bottom of the pop-up window. To export the whole page, click on the “share” icon in top right corner of the main page. Download everything into a PDF or share bits and pieces on social media.
